Imber Village is a ghost village located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. It was evacuated during World War II by the British Army for military training purposes and never resettled. The houses and buildings in the village remained abandoned and fell into disrepair. The village church, St Giles, is the only building still in use, and is owned by the Ministry of Defence. The public is allowed to visit Imber Village through a designated access route several times a year.
